Krematorium

Krematorium is the term with which the crematoriums of the Mauthausen camp were established, where it is estimated that 100,000 people died, of which 4,700 were republican refugees. After rigorous research work, with the collaboration of historian Benito Bermejo, I prepared a list with the data of 5,159 republicans who died in Nazi camps. The list has been treated with a black paint that reacts by disappearing with the application of fire. The fire erases the black paint and reveals the names and surnames of the republicans murdered in the Nazi camps. The video of the action was recorded in the Girona air raid shelter, built during the war to safeguard the population from bombs.
