Ale Montiel (1979) was born in Córdoba, Argentina. She is a visual artist, researcher, performer and curator. She studied arts at the public University of Córdoba, UNC.
She investigates the concept of body as first territory, and works on hybrid processes between photographs, video performance and installations.
She has participated in individual and group exhibitions since 1997. She also participated in national and international projects and exhibitions with video performance works as well as in international festivals in Brazil, Colombia, India and Chicago. She lives in El Calafate, Santa Cruz, Argentina.
