She holds an MA in Photography from the Lens School of Visual Arts (Madrid), a Postgraduate Degree in Creative Illustration from the EINA School of Art, (Barcelona), and a Master’s Degree in Contemporary Art, Museology and Criticism from the Santiago de Compostela University. as well as in Architecture from the School of Architecture (University of A Coruña).

Currently, she combines her work as a photographer with teaching photography in Madrid. Her work explores the interconnections between various artistic manifestations, always seeking contemporary art’s approach to society. In her recent work, photography with social content predominates, where she uses architecture as a framework to discuss topics such as the economic crisis or the revaluation of modern architecture in Spain.

Her work has been awarded internationally and exhibited at the Venice Biennale (Spanish Pavillion, Golden Lion 2016 and 2018), Photo London 2018, the Sony World Photography Awards, PhotoEspaña2017 (Madrid),), at the Royal Academy of Arts (London), Tent Gallery (Edimburgh), the International Festival Eme3 and Picasso Museum (Barcelona), the International Arts Prize «Obra Abierta 2016» (Plasencia), among others.
