“Alejo’s Universe II opens with an image of a night sky filigreed with distant starlight. The cosmos appears as a chilly and lonesome landscape. But then a finger unexpectedly enters the frame and touches the sky -or rather, the car windshield through which we have unwittingly been looking. Leaving a misty finger print, it abruptly brings us back to earth while hinting that our visual comprehension es inevitably contingent upon the context that frame it”
