Alix Galdin is a self-taught French-Canadian visual artist. She uses silver film to create still and moving images, focusing on the physicality of the images with alternative techniques such as collage and mordançage. Her work has been presented in Vues sur mer (Quebec, Canada), Festival Oodaaq (France), Kinoskop (Serbia), Fisura (Mexico), and at the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec (Quebec, Canada). Alix Galdin has been supported by Vidéographe (Quebec, Canada) for the production of a video poem, and by the Table de concertation interrégionale en cinéma (Quebec, Canada) for the creation of a documentary.
