Jarek Lustych
Visual Art
Poland

Jarek Lustych is a visual artist, as well as an audio and multimedia, currently pursuing a PhD at the Doctoral School of Humanities and Art at UMCS in Lublin, Poland. Lustych’s works tackle social and political issues through a post-humanist lens, aiming to transcend an anthropocentric worldview by incorporating natural components of the environment as co-authors or active participants. He employs an array of media, including recycled materials, to draw attention to often overlooked aspects of our surroundings. Lustych has collaborated with renowned institutions such as the Pilar Juncosa & Joan Miró Foundation (Palma de Mallorca, 2005), Künstlerhaus Villa Waldberta (Munich, 2017), Luxlakes A4 Art Museum (Chengdu, China, 2019), and the Foksal Gallery (Warsaw, 2021).
