Transdisciplinary artist born in Mexico. He has received 13 national awards, 33 nominations in festivals and artistic calls, as well as group and individual exhibitions and research projects carried out to date in Mexico, Germany, Monaco, the United States, Canada, Australia, Japan, Egypt, Greece, Italy, France, Argentina, Portugal, Venezuela, Colombia and Spain. In places like the Reina Sofía and La Casa Encendida in Madrid, Museum of Sciences and Arts in Mexico. Tokyo, Rome, Sydney, Valencia and Cali, among others.
Awards that stand out such as PAAL 2024 in Madrid, Award for Best Latin Artistic Documentary Film 2023, CIIF Australia. Official Selection Award 2023, Athens Solidarity Film Festival. Nominations for best Documentary short film in 2024 at DFF19 Italy. Best Film «Magda Saleh Award» 2023, BWDF Cairo. Special Jury Prize 2023, FCC Palermo. Best International Documentary Short Film 2023, LISBIFF Lisbon. Best Short Film Xerinola Section 2023, Choreoscope, Barcelona. PROJECTOR Festival | Moving Image Platform 2024, Madrid. He has studied in various schools of the National Institute of Fine Arts of Mexico (in contemporary, classical, pre-Hispanic and folk dance; music, theater, visual arts and cinema). Basic and Higher Secondary artistic education at CEDART Diego Rivera, from INBAL México, Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts at the National School of Painting, Sculpture and Engraving (ENPEG La Esmeralda). Cinematography Workshops at the Cinematographic Capture Center (CCC) and Artistic Research Center of CENART, as well as transmedia in storytelling at Sungkyunkwan University in Korea.
Member of the Chakiñan Mutante art-in-action collective in Spain, and of the RedRetro artistic and urban intervention project in metro systems around the world.
Since 2016 to date, he has carried out the transdisciplinary artistic research project «Territory», which studies transitions related to displacement, around the phenomenology that concerns human migration.
